Dear valued readers of Galactic Journey:

Now that I can count my daily readers on more than two hands, I've decided on trying out a new venue so that y'all can get automatic electronic updates whenever a new article is published. How's that for convenience?

If you'll tell me how that's done, I can certainly try! But I'd like to consolidate my brand as much as possible so the comments don't scattered across the universe.

Unfortunately, I only know how to do it manually - ie, log in to your account and post a link to the update. There are probably any number of ways to automate but they would most likely depend on your site's software.

For my own site, I post a teaser linking to the main article, in the belief/hope it will drive traffic to my site. In terms of pushing comments to one place only, easy enough to disable comments here when you post.

Anyway, I hope you'll do it; I only stumbled over your account within the last week or so and have been enjoying it, but probably won't subscribe to (yet another) mailing list and would probably miss notifications on Facebook or Twitter.

Obviously it's your call, so I'll cross my metaphorical fingers.

Sorry, I must not have been clear. What I meant was that you need only post a link when you add a post to your site. Maybe with a teaser, or just with a headline and link. See for example, the way Scott Adams handles it: http://dilbertdaily.livejournal.com/ (I reather suspect it's been automated, but I don't know how). That way you get your traffic and I/we don't need to subscribe to yet another newsletter!
