[Nov. 2, 1959] Technical Difficulties II

Hello, all. My editor is nice enough to let me publish a quick note in lieu of an article.

My typewriter has given up the ghost, which has made it prohibitively difficult to submit for the column. I'll have a new one in the next couple of days, after which I promise I shall make up for lost time.

In the meantime, please enjoy my prior pieces, catch yourself up, and I'll have plenty to talk about shortly.

Nonetheless, it certainly beats handwriting everything. (Even if Grams kept insisting that typewriters would destroy handwriting one day...)

Anyone want to buy me a nice electric for Christmas?

I'm planning on having a piece out today, tomorrow at the latest. Next week, I'm traveling to Orlando to... look at oranges, I guess. I'll have a week off, so I'll try to squeeze in a few using the hotel typewriter or something.
