"The Measure of a Man" was a good story, with a powerful ending. (I thought the protagonist might put the microfilm in the lifeboat and send it unmanned to Earth, but I suppose there would be no way to ensure that the message was received unless he went with it.)

By the way, I think the "Leinster Hypothesis" is actually a reference to the 1945 story "First Contact."
