Thank you for this thoughtful and thought-provoking review. It certainly sounds like this movie goes far beyond our current ideas of Black and White, not to mention our ideas of relationships between men and women. It's sad but unsurprising that it was such a financial failure. I hope that in the future people will be able to see it the way you did.
