Well, too bad about the wobble. If... what I presume to be some sort of gyroscopic stability system isn't working entirely, hopefully it's working enough to record some axial tilt data so they can try to correlate that to the photoscanner data.
You know, with that new Radiofax system, it can't be too long until they'll be able to transmit down a picture. At least, if they can get the satellite stable enough for a solid image. Perhaps they could use some sort of land camera technology to get a fast image, then radiofax it down. Of course, that only gets you as many shots as you can pack film into a satellite, so that's probably not practical except as a demonstration.
Still, if everything else is working, that implies the insulation system is working! And while all that gold and custom chemical mixes can't be cheap, well, it's hardly the most expensive part of this whole proposition. I think we can manage a little gold in exchange for a happy satellite!
